September 11, 2001 is certainly a day we will never forget.
Every year, the anniversary still brings people back to wherever they were when they heard the news.
The memory is all too fresh even 13 years later, and while we must carry on with our lives, today is a day to take a brief moment to remember all those who lost their lives in the tragic World Trade Center attacks.
Knowing that the planes originated from Logan Airport, the memory is especially heart-wrenching to the city of Boston.
A memorial ceremony was held at the State House this morning, and a wreath was placed at the Garden of Remembrance Memorial in the Public Garden, where Mayor Marty Walsh spoke.
You can still honor 9/11 in your own way in the city. Many memorial services and events are taking place today.
